Nate on Biggie's new album

Some of the biggest names in hip-hop, both dead and alive, have contributed to "The Notorious B.I.G. Duets: The Final Chapter," including Eminem, Tupac Shakur, Jay-Z, Nas, Snoop Dogg and Missy Elliott.

The 22-track set is due December 20 via Bad Boy and features songs built around unreleased music from the late rapper.

The first single "Nasty Girl," which goes to U.S. radio outlets on November 14, features Diddy, Nelly, Jagged Edge and Avery Storm. Another song, "Hold Ya Head," debuted in late September on AOL Music. It features a sample of the late Bob Marley's "Johnny Was."

"The Final Chapter" also features rock act Korn on "Wake Up Now." "All we got was two verses," Korn frontman Jonathan Davis told Billboard.com. "We changed everything around. It's ... weird to be doing a song with someone who is deceased!" (Notorious B.I.G., a.ka. Biggie Smalls, was gunned down in an L.A. drive-by in 1997).

Fat Joe is paired with Biggie and the late Big Pun on "Get Your Grind On," while R. Kelly and Charlie Wilson guest on "Mi Casa." Twista and Krayzie Bone team up for "Spit Your Game," while Biggie's mother, Voletta Wallace, closes the disc with a poem, "Love Is Everlasting."

Other artists confirmed to appear on the project include Mary J. Blige, Obie Trice, Nate Dogg, Redman, Freeway, Ludacris, Faith Evans, the Game, Slim Thug, T.I. and Bobby Valentino.

"This movement has been both an emotional and therapeutic experience, one that finds us at the end of the road in terms of original releases for a great man and at the threshold of a sound and a quality which may have fallen by the wayside after losing him," Diddy said in a statement.

As previously reported, the set is due Nov. 15 and is led by the single "Rush the Security," which will be featured in the upcoming Activision video game "True Crime Pt. 2: New York City."

Nate on GRODT Soundtrack

50 Cent is putting the finishing touches to what is looking to be another blockbuster release this year, the soundtrack to his film debut "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'". The album, ""Music From And Inspired By The Motion Picture Get Rich Or Die Tryin'"", will be released on November 8. The film, directed by Jim Sheridan (In America, My Left Foot) will open in theatres on November 9. The soundtrack will be released on G Unit/Interscope Records and will feature all new music from 50 Cent, and the entire stable of artists on his G Unit Records Imprint.

The first single, "Window Shopper," is a track that exposes the mentality of a rapper who can't afford to buy the things he wants and feels he deserves. It also serves as a focal point for some of the movies most poignant scenes.

Earlier this month, the album track "Hustler's Ambition" was dropped to give people a taste of what to expect from the soundtrack. Its grimy nature will take you back to where it all began, the hungry streets of Queens. DJ's across the country are spinning this track uncontrollably in the clubs.

"I created the music for the soundtrack while I was actually filming the movie. I had a studio trailer with me and would record every day between takes," comments 50 Cent. "I keep telling you, I'm the hardest working man alive."

50 Cent executive produced the album. Sha Money XL is co-executive producer with Dr. Dre and Hi-Tek providing further production. Mase, Nate Dogg and newly signed G Unit members Mobb Deep and M.O.P are also featured on the album.
