Nate Dogg has suffered his second stroke in less than a year, sources are reporting to Dubcnn. Although the details are sketchy, many sources are stating that the Nate is in serious condition due to the stroke, his second since December 20, 2007.

JANUARY 17--Claiming that his repeated demands for royalties have been met with threats of violence and lies, a rapper who once recorded for Suge Knight's Death Row Records is suing the bankrupt music mogul for more than $10 million. Nathaniel Hale, aka Nate Dogg, recently lodged an adversary proceeding attached to Knight's bankruptcy case, which was filed last year in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles. Hale, whose cousin Snoop Dogg (real name: Calvin Broadus) also once recorded for Death Row, alleges that Knight has "shamelessly" exploited him and refused to pay royalties. When he would ask about the payment of monies owed, the 37-year-old Hale charged he was either "threatened with violence," told he was not owed anything, or promised an accounting at some point. In his complaint, an excerpt of which you'll find below, Hale describes himself as "one of the most recognizable names in urban music," but claims that he is "unsophisticated in record company business dealings." Hale added that he was unsure whether he had signed any contracts granting Knight or Death Row rights to his musical compositions or masters. Hale, whom Knight, 41, did not list as a creditor in his Chapter 11 petition, is seeking a legal judgment declaring that Knight's debt to him cannot be discharged, or wiped away. Hale, who has recorded with Eminem, 50 Cent, Tupac Shakur, and Ludacris, has been linked (along with Broadus) to an L.A. branch of the Crips street gang. His rap sheet includes arrests for arson, kidnapping, drug possession, and assault. He is pictured here in an April 2002 mug shot snapped by Arizona cops following his bust on gun possession and marijuana charges.

Fred Wreck: Well one of the songs I did...I did a couple of songs for The Dogg Pound. One of them we umm...half of the time they were working on it, I was working on something else so I figured I will come in on the back end and contribute. So when I got to the end of it, one of the songs that I had did had Nate Dogg on it and since they were on Koch they didn’t have enough money in the budget to pay for Nate Dogg so they had to take that song off.

Grinding the rough streets of Long Beach, California, as a youngster wasn't easy for Warren G.

The West Coast rapper, also known as the Regulator, has dealt with some harsh demons on his way up and out of the 213 — gangs and drugs, toname two. He describes his journey in In the Mid-Nite Hour's autobiographical second single, "I Need a Light," featuring longtime friend Nate Dogg, who, along with Snoop Dogg, took much of the trip beside him.

"The song talks about a lot of situations, what I've been through from me growing up to now," G told MTV News recently. "It's also a lot of situations Nate and Snoop have been through [too] — just us being hip-hop artists and the life of living in Long Beach."

"This is a lot deeper than other songs we've done together," Nate added. "It's about how when you're going through troubles, people deal with stress differently. Like, I have so much going on that I just need to relax. There's just so much stress going off."

Throughout the track, G, who refers to himself at one point as a "serious basket case," spits rhymes about running with a gang and getting arrested. Then he segues into his decision to leave that lifestyle and start doing right by his family and others, making the point that change is possible, though not always easy.

Directed by Paul Hunter (Snoop, Pharrell), the clip is a throwback to the early 1940s with a bit of contemporary flair — the duo are decked out in chic black suits, engulfed in rich colors and dark silhouettes and surrounded by flashy cars and beautiful women. But it also shows the rapper's sweet side, interspersing images of him with a bride, a wedding ring and babies.

"The tone of the video shows the classic side of Warren — how he built his empire from the streets of Long Beach and expanded it to the world," Hunter said in a statement. "He's showing everyone that it's all about class and treating people right."

G said he's in a much better place now, mentally, and he's ready to show that to the world. "I'm just happy, man," he said. "There's so much going on, and I just can't wait to have fun."

No doubt the rapper will have his share of good times reteaming with his 213 comrades, Snoop and Nate, as they prepare to unleash some new material in the coming months.

"We will probably drop a single called 'PYT' around early May so it can ride out the summer," G said, adding that he could be joining Snoop on tour this summer with Ludacris and Ice Cube. "He called me and asked if I wanted to get on the tour, and I was like, 'Let's do it!' That was it, done deal. Now we just have to work out the particulars."

Finally, G said another 213 record could soon be in the works, their first new album since 2004's The Hard Way (see "Snoop's 213 Get Wrong Number While Doing Things The Hard Way").

"I talked to Snoop the other day, and we talked about doing another one," he said. "We haven't set it in stone yet, but it's going to go down, and once we do it, it's going to go pretty fast."

G said he plans to step in as the album's producer this time around.

"I can't wait," he said of the supergroup's return. "We make hit records together, and when we get together, man, it's magic."

Nate on Freeway's New Album

Roc-A-Fella rapper Freeway, of State Property fame, will collaborate with 50 Cent and G-Unit for his second album titled Free at Last, according to his manager.

The album is slated to feature Kanye West, Beanie Sigel, the Roots' Black Thought, Nate Dogg, and Mariah Carey, in addition to production by West, Just Blaze, Chad Wes, Scott Storch, Dangerous LLC, and Needlz, among others.

Warren G is seeing a boost in the success of his latest album, In The Mid-Nite Hour, as his latest music video "I Need A Light" (featuring Nate Dogg) is getting overwhelming response with his debut on MySpace.com.

Currently, two days since debuting the video on MySpace, it has gotten over 28,000 plays, and has helped In The Mid-Nite Hour climb Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, currently landing at number 44.

The mellow yet upbeat track is something to listen to if you were "stressin' over something," according to the rapper, where he describes his childhood growing up in Long Beach.

"'I Need a Light' is a song to sit back and listen to if you are stressin' over something," said Warren G. "Listen to the hook and it makes you feel good. As far as the lyrics in the song, I'm talking about growing up in Long Beach, some of the sh-- I went through, everything from what I saw as a kid up until now. We got to do it."

"This song is deep," adds Warren's partner-in-crime, Nate Dogg, "It's about when you are going through sh--, you got people who smoke just to relax themselves. Like, 'I need a light man, there is so much going on in my life that I just need to relax.' Or 'Dammit, go get me a bottle or something 'cuz I need a drink. There's just so much stress going off, let me relax myself.' That's where I was going with the song. That's where it's at."

The video for the single, which is directed by Paul Hunter, has a 1940's feel with contemporary flair. It opens with a look at Long Beach during Warren's childhood with Snoop and Nate, then follows the lyrics of the song literally, showing Warren at the club just letting loose.

"The overall tone of the video shows the classic side of Warren: how he built his empire from the streets of Long Beach and expanded it to the world," explained Hunter. "He is showing everyone that we can have a good time, look good and dress well. It's all about class and treating people right. It's really about the classy style of hip-hop."

In addition to the boost of success the new song and video is bringing for Warren, video and audio ringtones will also be available internationally beginning next week.

The rapper is currently preparing to hit the road for a nationwide tour in support his In The Mid-Nite Hour.

Tyrese is planning on releasing a double album next year titled "Alter Ego" which will feature one disc of him rapping and another of him singing. According to Tyrese there will be one song with Nate Dogg on the album:

“I just did a duet with Nate Dogg on top of Michael Jackson’s ‘Rock With You’ beat,” he adds. “That beat was done by DJ Battlecat and Jellyroll, two of the biggest West coast producers other than Dr. Dre. And they’ve never done a record together. So that should give you a sense of the synergy and people willing to come to the table and collaborate. The Game don’t get along with Guerilla Black, but yet they’re willing to be on the same album.”

Lil Flip Album pushed waaaay back

Snoop Dogg has added Jamie Foxx to his new single, "Real Soon," also featuring Kurupt, Daz and Nate Dogg. Snoop hopes the collaboration will raise awareness of the impending execution of Stanley "Tookie" Williams, co-founder of the California-based Crips gang. Foxx, who portrayed Williams in the 2004 film "Redemption," has also been publicly rallying for clemency on his behalf.

"Real Soon" will appear on the compilation "Snoop Dogg Presents Welcome to Tha Chuuch: Tha Album," due Dec. 13 via Doggystyle/Koch, the same date as Williams' scheduled execution. The song is available at savetookie.com.

The rest of the tracks in the tracklist that was posted earlier are still going to be on the album. I have no idea why that was the ONLY song to be scrapped, but that's what it is.
